COURSES IN CLARESHOLM
TACKLING DEBT
Are
you spending more than you intend and saving less than you want? In
a world of endless advertising and easy credit, its getting harder
to live within our means and put money away. Luckily there are ways
to break the spending cycle and keep more of your money where it
belongs...in your bank account. You’ll also walk away with a better
understanding of Tax-Free Savings accounts, RRSP, RESP, and the
importance of healthy credit. We will also talk about where to cut
costs in the
grocery store, what excesses you can avoid, how to use coupons to

TOOTHBRUSH WEAVING
This is a very old technique for making rugs. They are quickly
created using many strips of fabric. Use fabric from your stash or
old clothing, any length is acceptable. Rugs made with toothbrushes
look similar to braided rugs but offer more durability. This
technique is very simple and can be done while spending an evening
in front of your television. Students should bring 1 large safety
pin, scissors, cotton fabric (will be cut into strips, some dark,
some light, may be printed or new or recycled. Amount depends on
what size you want your rug to be), toothbrush (old with a hole in
it). There will be an additional $4.25 charge per person for
needles, payable to the instructor.
Date: Saturday, March 10th
Time: 1:00—4:00pm

Claresholm Campus
