AMERICAN SIGN
LANGUAGE 1
Sign Language is a generic term for different variations of sign
communication. ASL 1 is designed to enable the students to
learn the basics of sign language in expressive and receptive
communication. Emphasis is placed on facial expression and
body coordination, a significant element of the languages. The
first level focuses on personal pronouns, basic sentence structure,
possessives, negatives, questions, use of tense, verbs, imperatives,
numbers, and plurals. Text and study guide are extra and may
be purchased at the first class.

TAKING PICS OF
YOUR PETS & PEOPLE
There is nothing that tells someone how much you love them than to
hang their photograph on the wall. Whether a friend, a child
or a family pet, that unique photograph tells it all. Join
Tom Buchanan in this great 4 days adventure into taking pictures of
people and pets. Learn techniques that professional portrait
artists have used for centuries. Learn lighting and
composition and some unique tricks of the trade to get the most out
of people in front of the camera. Bring a digital or film
camera, a tripod, off camera flash, a laptop with Photoshop Elements
or above. This is going to be fun!

THE DIVINE
CIRCLE
The circle, with its mystery and infiniteness can teach us about
balance and cycles. In this workshop, we'll explore the circle
within the Goddess tradition and the Medicine Wheel. More
specifically, we'll discuss how you can learn, develop, heal and use
the circle for your own self-discovery. Bring a pot-luck lunch
and the desire to laugh and connect with others!
